The 12-track Short n' Sweet is expected to collect 200m+ streams, with pure album sales now expected to hit 150k. It's a particularly good week to be Carpenter; her previous album, 2023's emails i can't send, is poised to hit 1m in ATD the week Sweet debuts.
We say Carpenter gets "the nod" for #1 because of the 10th anniversary release of Travis Scott's 2014 mixtape, DAYS BEFORE RADIO (Cactus Jack/Epic). Known for massive D2C sales, Scott could play the role of spoiler if the numbers come in bigger than anticipated.
