After exiting
Warner Music Nashville as EVP last year,
Shane Tarleton has landed at
Clint Higham's powerhouse management company
Morris Higham,
HITS can reveal.
There's no word yet on Tarleton's title, but he is expected to be heavily involved on the creative and content side for a roster that boasts
Kenny Chesney,
Old Dominion,
Kris Kristofferson and
Barbara Mandrell, among others.
Tarleton began his career at
Titley/
Spalding Artist Management, then spent six years at
RCA Label Group working on imaging and branding for artists like Chesney,
Brad Paisley and
Martina McBride.
He also did a
stint producing events for
MGM properties before starting with WMN as Creative Director in 2010.
Tarleton praised Higham's "impeccable reputation for assembling the best team around the talent he represents" and described the new gig as "an incredible gift for this next chapter of my career."
