Interscope's
Gracie Abrams sure doesn't need to apologize as her song "I Love You, I'm Sorry" explodes at DSPs and on
TikTok, just in time for her stint opening the next North American leg of
Taylor Swift's
Eras Tour.
"Love" was generating 1m+ daily streams on
Spotify by the end of July but hit a peak of 3.3m+ this week, driven by Abrams' own
in-progress, sold-out headlining tour and a viral TikTok clip of a
performance of the song for
Vevo's Extended Play series. Original sound from the latter has been utilized in more than 100k user-generated clips.
The action is translating to big moves on the Spotify charts, where it's #12 at U.S. and #18 at global. The song is in the streamer's Top 20 in 10 worldwide markets.
"I Love You, I'm Sorry" can be found on Abrams' second album,
The Secret of Us, which debuted at #1 in the U.K. and Australia and #2 on the
HITS Top 50.
The artist, who's repped by
Laffitte Management's
Alex DePersia, will have a chance to showcase "Love" and other
Secret songs when she performs alongside
Benson Boone,
Shaboozey and
Tate McRae at
iHeart Radio's annual
Jingle Ball on 12/13 at
Madison Square Garden. And no, we can't get tickets for your goddaughter.
