The
PULSE Music Group team is putting some caviar on their mixed greens as 41 of its publishing clients have earned nods.
The group is particularly well represented in the Best Latin Pop Album category, with strong showings by
Aldae (a contributor to
Shakira’s
Las Mujeras Ya No Lloran) as well
as Jacob Gago,
Leclair,
Taylor Ross,
Solly,
Liana Banks and
302Quan (all of whom are represented on
Anitta’s
Funk Generation).
PULSE’s other high-powered nominees include
Sierra Farrell, who’s up for Best Americana Album for
Trail of Flowers, Best American Roots Performance for “Lighthouse” and Best American Roots Song and Best Americana Performance (both for “American Dreaming”).
Kehlani also notched a passel of nods, including Best Progressive R&B Album for
Crash, Best R&B Song for “After Hours” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for her feature on
Jordan Adetunji’s “Kehlani” (remix).
PMG could also pick up hardware with clients such as
Ty Dolla $ign,
Charley Crockett,
Rich the Kid and
Jean Dawson, among others.
The Grammy bonanza caps off a banner year for PMG, which scored big on the label side with
Tommy Richman’s global smash, “MILLION DOLLAR BABY,” which was certified 3x platinum in the U.S., New Zealand and Australia.
