Spotify has revealed their Spotlight on 2016 Country Artists, which shines a light on the best of what's brewing in Nashville.

According to the streaming giant, the honorees were selected by using "a combination of curation by Spotify’s team of in-house music experts and an analysis of streaming data from our millions of users, including the artists whose music appears in Spotify’s viral charts and is currently being listened to by Spotify’s most musically-influential users." To be eligible, artists should have gained noticeable buzz and played well-received live performances without releasing an album yet. They've got noticeable buzz and we're noticeably buzzed; it's a good day to be alive.
