Cher Lloyd just posted a teaser to her socials, revealing that her long-awaited, third studio album (possibly titled CL3) is coming soon. This would be her first release since 2014's Sorry, I'm Late—her last album for Syco/Epic.
The songstress, who finished in the Top 5 of X Factor U.K.'s seventh season in 2010, is currently starting a new chapter of her career and taking meetings all over town, so expect for her to have a new label home soon.
LLoyd—who boasts follower counts of 7.5m on Facebook and 7.4m on Twitter—is seeing an explosive response from eager fans across the interwebs, as they share #CL3 with vehemence. In the aforementioned clip (embedded below), she shares, "I just wanna say thank you so much for being so patient. It's been a while, but it's definitely worth the wait."
The Nettwerk-repped pop siren's "Want U Back" is currently 2.5-times platinum, and both of her albums (Sorry, I'm Late and 2011 debut Sticks + Stones) peaked in the Top 5 on iTunes' album chart.
Excited by the recent traction, managers Ryan Chisholm and Tom Gates got the word "Daddy" tattooed with a heart next to it on their right hands to match the one on Lloyd's.
