Brantley Gilbert, who played to nearly 30k in his recent Charlotte, NC and Alpharetta, GA shows, and whose "The Ones That Like Me" is ascending at Country radio, has made Rolling Stone's Best of Country and Americana List. The Valory/BMLG star's The Devil Don't Sleep is ranked alongside acclaimed albums by Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Allison Krauss, Little Big Town and Luke Combs (the latter is also opening for Gilbert on the aforementioned tour). RS writer Jon Freeman hailed the set as "the soundtrack to Friday night in small towns everywhere." To celebrate, Hard 8 management's Rich Egan drank whiskey out of somebody's boot.
