Capitol Nashville's Keith Urban will be joining the lineup at SXSW this year, performing 3/16. His slot includes a speaking engagement titled "Creation and Connection: A Conversation with Keith Urban to Highlight Career, Creative Process and Staying Connected."
After his talk in the afternoon, Urban will head to the Stubb’s BBQ outdoor stage for a performance, presented by social networking app Bumble. As for opening acts, Devon Filfillian, Lauren Ruth Ward and Larkin Poe have been confirmed.
The female-forward app took interest in Urban with the release of his powerful anthem, "Female." Bumble Head of Brand Alex Williamson calls it "a celebration of the power and the importance of women,” also noting a desire to spread the same message.
Urban's forthcoming album, GRAFFITI U, is slated to come out prior to the GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018, which kicks off 6/15. For tour and ticket info head here.
