RCA’s
Val Pensa has been upped to SVP Pop/Rock Marketing. She was previously VP Marketing for the label. In addition to her active roster, Pensa will spearhead the upcoming campaigns for
P!nk,
Miley Cyrus,
Pentatonix and
ZAYN.
During her tenure as a product manager, Pensa directed campaigns for acts including
Britney Spears,
Tinashe,
Cam,
Grace,
Kygo and
Snakehips. She led the marketing campaign for
Sia’s multi-platinum-selling
1,000 Forms of Fear and
This Is Acting, winning three
Clio Awards for her for “Chandelier” campaign. More recently, she was instrumental in the launch of
Backstreet Boys’ comeback single, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”
