Blue Chair/Warner Nashville's Kenny Chesney has announced the addition of 18 amphitheater shows to his 22-date Chillaxification Tour, scheduled to venture across North America in 2020. The more intimate shows will take place between his stadium gigs and have Michael Franti & Spearhead joining as the sole openers.

The Chillaxification tour begins 4/18 in Arlington, Texas, with the first amphitheater show scheduled for 5/7 in West Palm Beach, FL, where the eight-time Entertainer of the Year began his headlining career at the Cora Sky Amphitheater.

“As crazy and awesome as the stadium shows are – and there’s nothing like them – there is a vibe to the amphitheater shows that only happens in those places. You look out at the lawn, you see everybody coming together, singing the songs – and it’s this community that feels so close,” says Chesney says.
