Atlantic Records U.K. has hired
Liz Goodwin as General Manager. She joins after four years as U.K. Managing Director for
Glassnote, and starts at the end of April.
Goodwin will be responsible for overseeing the long-term career strategy for Atlantic U.K.’s roster of artists. At the same time, she'll work with the marketing, digital, creative and PR teams to devise and deliver campaigns. She reports into label co-Presidents
Briony Turner and
Ed Howard.
“Over the past two decades, Liz has played a central role in developing the careers of some of the most important and influential artists of our era,” the co-presidents said in a joint statement. “Her strategic expertise, combined with her wealth of experience across a broad range of genres, make her a fantastic addition to our senior leadership team.”
Goodwin started her music career at
ZTT Records in 2000, moving to
Polydor in 2001. While there, she rose to Head of Marketing and then Head of Campaign Strategy, working with acts including
Lana Del Rey,
Elbow,
Eminem,
Imagine Dragons and
Lady Gaga. At Glassnote, Goodwin led the company through campaigns for established and breaking artists, including
Childish Gambino,
Dylan Cartlidge, and
Jade Bird.
Goodwin replaces
Katie White, who joined Atlantic from
Vice Media in 2018. White will continue to act as a strategic adviser to the label after leaving in the summer.
In other personnel news,
Max Lutkin has been upped to Head of Marketing from Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Director
Callum Caulfield has left the company.
