Granderson Des Rochers LLP, which opened last year, has promoted
Elizabeth Moody and
Jamie Slade to Senior Partner and Partner, respectively, at the boutique entertainment law firm.
Moody is Chair of Granderson Des Rochers’ new-media practice, and Slade leads the firm’s Latinx and branding practices. Both lawyers joined the firm last year.
Moody represents a number of livestreaming platforms, fitness companies including
Hydrow and
Liteboxer and social-media companies such as
Triller. She recently completed artist deals for the livestreaming platform
Sessions and
Wave, the latter a Los Angeles-based virtual-concerts company that helps artists such as
The Weeknd and
John Legend perform as avatars of themselves.
Slade launched Granderson Des Rochers’ Latinx practice with
Diego Rodriguez-Palma. She oversees all phases of talent brand development for the firm’s clients, including designers, entertainers and other creatives.
“Elizabeth and Jamie are fantastic lawyers, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our partnership,” said Senior Partner
Damien Granderson. “Elizabeth is paving the way for new entertainment-industry verticals, and Jamie has introduced important practice areas to our firm.”
