Creator of the ethereal riff distinguishing
SZA's 2021 smash "Good Days" (
TDE/
RCA),
LosHendrix has soared to new heights as a guitarist, songwriter and producer over the last two years. "Good Days" was a chart-topping R&B smash, the eighth-biggest song of the
first half of 2021.
Los hails from New York but is now based in L.A. He made his bones as an early collaborator of
Brent Faiyaz's, contributing production to Faiyaz's group
Sonder before he went solo. The multi-hyphenate produced key tracks like "Trust" and "Target on My Chest" (
check the blistering solo), from Faiyaz's 2018 EP
Lost, as well as "Clouded" and "Been Away," among others, from his 2020 full-length,
Fuck the World.
Los' R&B prowess was further cemented by his work with
Not So Fast/
Epic breakthrough
GIVĒON, whose 2020 album,
Take Time, earned a Grammy nomination. He has credits on three songs from the project, including the platinum-certified "Like I Want You."
Other Grammy-nominated acts LosHendrix has collaborated with include
Childish Gambino,
Ant Clemons,
Camila Cabello,
Kehlani,
2 Chainz and
