Universal Music Publishing China has officially opened its new Shanghai office, expanding
UMPG’s operations in China.

Gao Yunfei, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of
Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee/Director of the
Shanghai Film Bureau, and
Mo LiangJin, Jing’an CPC Committee member/Publicity Department Director, among other music, tech, gaming, culture and creative executives attended the opening event.
UMPG also launched the Chinese version of its
UMPG Window international royalty portal for songwriters, representing UMPG’s first local-language version in Asia.

Shanghai Rainbow Chamber Singers, the celebration recognized UMP China songwriters
Chengzhi Jin,
Shanghai Ju Feng Yuan Culture and
Ziming Li, who were
given awards by Jing’an District Mayor
Wang Hua, Deputy Mayor
Long Wanli and District Deputy Mayor
Zhang Jun.
