Crispin Hunt is stepping down as Chair of songwriter and producer org The Ivors Academy after for five years in the role. Hunt will continue to be actively involved in the Academy as a Board Director and a new Chair will be elected and announced shortly.
Hunt, a multi-platinum selling producer and songwriter who has written for the likes of Florence and the Machine, Jake Bugg, Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding and Rod Stewart, will be pursuing “new projects.”
“It is high time to let the future lead the future, bed hogging is not my style,” he said. “As I turn to new projects, I reiterate my unflinching commitment to delivering the Academy's mission and to supporting PRS's outstanding team, as a member of the PRS Council, to be as innovative, efficient and influential as possible.”
