The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery’s Portrait of a Nation award.
The honorees will be celebrated during the Portrait of a Nation Gala on 11/12, proceeds from which will support the National Portrait Gallery’s endowment for exhibitions, collections, commissions and education programs.

The Portrait of a Nation Award reminds us that history is living and the choices people make have an impact on the nation’s legacy.”
