Jade Thirlwall is the third
Little Mix member to announce a solo deal, signing with
RCA Records in the U.S. and U.K.
Kevin Beisler and
Sarah Montgomery at
Full Stop will manage her.
Thirlwall has spent the last 10 years as a member of Little Mix, which won the U.K.’s
X Factor in 2011 and has since gone on to become one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with six Top 5 albums in the U.K., three of which reached the Top 20 in the U.S. The English outfit has also claimed five #1 singles in the U.K. and won Best British Group at last year's
BRITs. Its total sales top 60 million, according to
Sony Music.
Little Mix, which announced a hiatus in December, is also signed to RCA after moving from
Syco in 2018 following
a dispute between
Simon Cowell and LM management
Modest!
Thirlwall is repped by
Sony Music Publishing and, in addition to her credits with Little Mix, has co-written songs for artists including
Britney Spears, South Korean girl group
Twice and
Billy Porter.
Thirlwall's deal with RCA and relationship with Full Stop come after the 2020 departure from Little Mix of
Jesy Nelson, who's signed to
Polydor and
Republic Records and is managed by
YMU. LM's
Leigh-Anne Pinnock is signed as a solo artist to
Warner Records and managed by
Tap Music.
