U.K. MIDWEEKS: BEY RULES
8/1/22

Beyoncé has taken the U.K. charts by storm with RENAISSANCE (Columbia/Parkwood) set to become her fourth #1 on Friday. Her “Break My Soul” is challenging LF System for the top spot at singles.

At the halfway point, RENAISSANCE is outselling the rest of the Official Albums Top 5 combined.

Elsewhere, Maggie Rogers could claim her first Top 10 with Surrender (Polydor) starting at #3, while Orbital’s 30 Something (London Music Stream) is new at #5.

The Cribs have three entries in the Top 10 today with their re-released first three albums: Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever (Sonic Blew) is at #4, The New Fellas at #7 and The Cribs at #8.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweek chart, Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” looks set to bounce to #2 from #6, challenging the reign of long-running #1—“Afraid to Feel” (Warner Records) by LF Soundsystem.

Two further songs from RENAISSANCE are in today's Top 20: “Cuff It” at #10 and “I’m That Girl” at #11.

David Guetta, Becky Hill and Ella Henderson could rise one place to #6 with “Crazy What Love Can Do” (Parlophone), while Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson’s “21 Reasons” (Warner Music U.K.) is on track for a new peak at #8.
