Jenifer Mallory has been promoted to president of
Columbia Records. The company's EVP and GM since 2018, she’ll continue to oversee label marketing, digital, publicity, video-production, licensing and brand-partnerships departments.
Chairman and CEO
Ron Perry made the announcement, saying, “Jen’s steadfast championing of artists, extraordinary leadership abilities and unwavering dedication to Columbia Records makes her truly presidential.”
Known for her global-marketing expertise, the widely admired Mallory has played a key role in helping break Columbia’s new artists and elevate the careers of its superstars; she's guided successful campaigns for
AC/DC,
Adele,
Beyoncé,
Bob Dylan,
Bruce Springsteen,
Harry Styles,
Lil Nas X,
The Kid LAROI and
Tyler, The Creator, among others.
Mallory joined Columbia Records in 2006 and rose through the ranks in digital and international marketing until becoming EVP international for
