KINELSKI EARNS SVP STRIPES AT UMPG

Universal Music Publishing Group has hired Jamie Kinelski as SVP of A&R, a role she will handle from the company's New York offices while reporting to EVP/Head of U.S. A&R Jennifer Knoepfle.

Kinelski spent the last two years as SVP/head of West Coast Creative for Kobalt, where she signed and developed such artists and songwriters as Father John Misty, Saya Gray, Moses Sumney and Kali Uchis. She also helped Kobalt build partnerships with 88rising and Heavy Duty Publishing.

Before that, she inked Big Sean and HAIM to ASCAP in her role as director of Creative Services, Pop/Rock.
