RCA’s
Latto has hit the road on a sold-out tour in support of her sophomore set,
777. Featuring
Lil Durk, Kodak Black and
21 Savage, the album
arrived 3/25 and subsequently landed in the Top 20 of the
HITS Top 50 chart.
Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Latto 777, booked by UTA's
Mike G, Chris Jordan and
Ryan Soroka, stops tonight (4/6) at Nashville’s
Basement East and will hit Chicago’s
Patio Theatre 4/9, Detroit’s
Majestic Theatre 4/13, New York's
Warsaw 4/15 and Philadelphia's
Theatre of Living Arts 4/18, among other dates, before wrapping 4/23 at
Tabernacle in Atlanta.
Latto was tapped as a
Savage x Fenty ambassador late last year by
Rihanna, a deal negotiated by UTA Music Brand Partnerships agent
Melissa Newhart that sees the ATL rapper joining the likes of
Normani,
Megan Thee Stallion and
Kehlani.
Latto recently enlisted the help of
Mariah Carey and
DJ Khaled for the “Big Energy” remix, which samples
Tom Tom Club’s 1981 single “Genius of Love,” also the basis of Carey’s 1995 monster hit “Fantasy.”
